When Allison Warner Vann sat down with our Sales team to educate us about what the International Women's House is all about, we were determined to immediately participate in whatever way we could to contribute to this organizations success. International Women's HouseThe International Women's House (IWH) is a battered women's shelter helping immigrant and refugee women and children in the Atlanta area. After more than 10 years of service, IWH remains the only shelter in the state to serve women and children of all nationalities. The innovative services provided by the IWH are absolutely critical for this vulnerable and often-overlooked community. Like most battered women's shelters IWH provides physical shelter to the victims of domestic violence, while also providing support services, a multilingual and culturally sensitive staff, and a 24-hour crisis hotline. In October 2010, IWH is hosting its Third Annual International Dessert Night Fundraiser in celebration and support of the ongoing work of this important agency. Knowing that the success of the International Dessert Night depends upon sponsorships from area businesses and organizations, A Divine Event is humbled to be a part of this exciting event by becoming a sponsor. As the signature caterer for this very special occasion, our Chef de Cuisine was filled with ideas for Wickedly Delicious internationally inspired desserts.
