Kendall's Kitchen Winter 2022
After a September trip to Ireland, our CEO, Kendall Collier, presented a group of attendees to a Special Edition of Firefly Supper Club. Cloverleaf Farm was privileged to host Céad Míle Fáilte (a hundred thousand welcome). While it has been a few months since this glorious event took place, we felt that the month of March was the very best time of year to share this fantastic Irish celebration!
Guests arrived in the late afternoon at Cloverleaf Farm by way of a chartered shuttle. Our ADE Team welcomed the guests with passed hors d’oeuvres and a signature drink, “The Irish Maid.” Charming Irish tunes filled the air from The Green Flag Irish Band staged in our event barn.
THE IRISH MAID
2 oz. Muddled Cucumber
2 oz. Irish Whiskey
.5 oz Elderflower Liqueur
.75 oz Lemon Juice
.75 oz Simple Syrup
Sliced Cucumber Garnish
Once all of the guests had arrived, Kendall kicked off the festivities by gathering guests on the front terrace of the home with a Traditional Irish Toast.
Sláinte!
“slawn-che”
To Health!
Sláinte is Táinte!
“slawn-che iss toin-che”
To Health AND Wealth!
Following the toast, guests were welcomed inside to tour the house and then make their way out to the field behind the event barn for a wickedly delicious Irish feast!
While Kendall’s guests explored the house, they snacked on some of ADE’s most popular cocktail hour snacks: Spinach & Smoked Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms, Quinoa & Corn Griddle Cake with Serrano Avocado Cream Cheese and Crispy Kale, and Tuna Tartar with Apples, Avocado, Sesames on Lavosh Cracker. While everyone toasted with a hearty “Sláinte!,” the farm tables were laid with whole Bread Boules and an assortment of Irish Cheese including, Irish Cashel Blue; Irish Dubliner; Cahill Farm Cheese with Porter Ale; “Garden of Ireland” Cheddar; Highbank Orchard Irish Apple Syrup + Treacle, Mileeven Jameson Irish Whisky Honey, along with Pumpkin Hummus, Butternut Squash Hummus, and Whipped Kerrygold Butter.
Following dinner, Kendall gathered our entire ADE team tableside to introduce us all to her guests. Kendall raved about our service, the presentation, and the exquisite fare our culinary team had worked so hard to prepare. She was one proud Nona, indeed!
To wrap up the evening, guests were welcomed into the event barn to enjoy our delicious Guinness Stout Cake Dessert Station and some Irish dancing featuring the Southern Belles Dance Troupe, accompanied again by The Green Flag Irish Band. Of course, the evening would not have been complete without a warm Irish Whiskey Coffee treat!
From the fairy lights surrounding the estate table, to Irish soda bread pans and vintage platters for dinner service, every Wickedly Delicious Detail was delicately planned, presented with Heavenly Service and prominently on display with Divine Design.
In Kendall’s own words…It was the Event of a lifetime. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was PERFECT! Food, Decor, Staff, and entertainment, I mean everyone delivered a World Series win!
A lifetime of event productions rolled up into one special evening! And when the moon came upon the horizon, as we lit the firefly lanterns, T was there! I’m speechless and so very thankful for you all who love, respect, and support me. It was one for the ages!
