Glamorous Farm Weddings
Cloverleaf Farm, an outdoor wedding and event venue by Magic Moments in the sprawling hills of North Georgia, has all the romantic appeal of a farm, but these two weddings were anything but rustic! Beyond the horse barn and vineyards lies a beautiful Southern house, with a big porch and graceful contemporary decor, perfect for post-ceremony photos.
Danielle and Kurt Kohle planned a destination wedding to the rolling pastures of Cloverleaf Farm outside of Athens, Georgia. Coming from Broward County, Florida, the couple was looking for a wedding venue that would capture more of Danielle’s summer romance style, and the picturesque outdoor venue did not disappoint. Pairing romantic colors of soft rose, creamy white, and sage, the floral and decor team at A Divine Event Design Studio flawlessly blended romance and glam. Subtle yet captivating touches throughout the ceremony and reception made you forget you were on a farm. Danielle’s beautiful lace-adorned dress with dreamy train from Stella York, crystal pendants hanging from trees, and champagne turned the great outdoors into an elegant wedding spot. Every magical moment was perfectly captured by Stephanie Lynn Studios. Kurt looked sharp in a classic tux from Mens Warehouse. Hair and makeup by Bridal & Beyond.
Danielle and Kurt started off their dinner, catered by A Divine Event, with the ever-fabulous Grilled Cheese Two Ways appetizer station, offering either Pimento Cheese or White American with Truffle Oil on Sourdough. Guests then dined on a delicious meal of Bourbon Peppercorn Flank Steak with a Balsamic Glaze, Grilled Tuscan Chicken with assorted vegetables, orzo, feta, and a lemon velouté, and three tempting sides of either mixed greens with champagne vinaigrette, Gemelli with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and a roasted mushroom garlic cream sauce, or Summer Tomato Salad with a sweet vinaigrette.
Ellie and Ben Hodges also celebrated their nuptials at Cloverleaf Farm, and they certainly brought classic glamour to their outdoor wedding, beautifully captured by Lindsey Morgan Photography. With an original wedding date in March of 2020, the couple’s wedding day was yanked from underneath them as the global pandemic broke out. The postponed wedding was worth the wait, as the breezy Georgia weather made this fall wedding lush, dewey, and beautiful. Ellie shined like a diamond in an off-shoulder, plunging satin dress from Sweet Elegance Bridal, and Ben looked sharp in his black tuxedo, patent leather shoes, and snazzy bow-tie from The Black Tux. The soft coral and jade hues in the decor and floral arrangements, provided by A Divine Event Design Studio, were a pleasant contrast from the easy gray bridesmaids dresses by Show Me Your Mumu. Hair by Melanie Sorrow Hair and makeup by JennySue Makeup.
"We chose to spend the entire wedding day at Cloverleaf getting ready with our bridal party, and it was the best decision! We felt that we were able to fully enjoy the home and property and were able to have our friends experience everything we love about Cloverleaf." - Ellie Hodges
Ellie and Ben’s guests started off with A Divine Event’s popular Chicken and Waffle station, paired with pure maple syrup. Then they enjoyed a two-course plated dinner. The first course was a Signature Salad of Artisan & Bitter Greens, topped with goat cheese, walnuts, peppadews, Bosc pears, and finished with a Mostarda Vicentina dressing. The second course consisted of Bourbon Peppercorn Filet Mignon & Horseradish Encrusted Salmon, paired with grilled asparagus, crispy fingerling potatoes, and a Lemon Dill sauce. Later into the night, guests enjoyed the “Let’s Get Twisted” Pretzel Station, with an assortment of pretzel options and fun dipping sauces, like Salted Caramel, Beer Cheese, Mustard, and VooDoo Ranch.
